Santa Cruz Island is known for its pink sand. Yes pink! but don’t expect it to be visible sa pictures because hindi naman talaga masyadong pink yung sand. Visible lang yung pink sand sa shore line part kasi wet siya 🙂
Honestly, It wasn’t in my itinerary to go there during my looooong vacation leave because personally I’m not into beach (what?haha). Kasi i’m so tired the whole year working and climbing mountains, this time I wanted my vacation to be so calm and peaceful lang. Chill chill lang. Meeting my friends sa mall or sa fast food chain is enough HAHA. One thing is out of budget na ako. But my friend gave me the idea to go there, He wanted to have a “outing” kind of thing with all of our friends. So sabi ko why not? since I’ve never been there.
So there goes the plan making and inviting everyone…

So you need to go to Paseo Del Mar as early as you can to register your names. By 7am nagstastart na sila magpasakay ng pasahero sa bangka. They will provide you a life vest and before that there will be a 5 minutes orientation. Bawal kumuha ng pink sand sa island! yan yung naintindihan ko sa orientation haha.
10-15 minutes yung byahe going Santa Cruz Island from the mainland. If you’re planning to stay for overnight there, sorry, they don’t offer you that option. And also hanggang 2pm ka lang don sa Island. They say na pag late ka na aalis don masyado ng delikado kasi malalaki na yung waves.
No fresh water sa CR! please be guided! so the banlaw thing will be happening sa bahay nyo na and also no electricity sa mga cottage. So better bring your power bank and bluetooth speakers for the soundtrip.
Going to Santa Cruz Island will only cost you for only 125php!
100php for the ride going there and going back to the mainland.
25php for the terminal fee.
For the cottage you can choose from 100php to 200php. Very affordable right?
This place is too beautiful to ignore, so better yet plan your next outing here! I will definitely go here and let my skin go “kutis baha” again because why not? hahaha.
